Background:
Our client company is a young and exciting American company that
has developed a suite of proprietary, novel data analysis methods and
biochemical knowledge management techniques that can significantly accelerate
the analysis of large data sets. The company are shortly opening their European
operation in the Strasbourg area of France and they are looking for a Computer
Scientist to join its Commercial Operation Group.
Primary Duties:
This field-based role will involve installation and maintenance of
the software tools, training of customers and support of the client base, post
sales. It will also involve assisting in the promotion and sales of the
company's range of products and services.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate should be educated to BSc or MSc level in
an appropriate discipline (eg Computer Sciences). As customer contact will be a
major part of the role, strong team, interpersonal and communication skills are
needed. Knowledge of languages (particularly English) would be advantageous.
